Website Conditions and Terms for
W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club™ Chapters

If you are reading this, it probably means you’re thinking of creating a website for your local chapter of W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club™. Great! We hope your Chapter becomes a HUGE success and that you can give to the charity of your choice.

We want to make sure you know about “the rules” before setting up your website. We don’t necessarily like rules either but having them makes it easier for all of us. The following covers all W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club websites and domains including but not limited to www.winosbuddies.com and www.winoshavefun.com. Please read this, along with the information in our “Affiliation Agreement”.

  1. You must note on your website that your chapter is an affiliate of W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club™, that you are not an independent group or organization and that a link to the home page of W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club™ is present on your home page. You must display the logo below which reads: “Registered W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club™ Chapter”.

  2. You and your chapter must abide by all relevant copyright and trademark laws in the countries in which you are located. (You might want to have a quick conversation with your local friendly lawyer/attorney/barrister just to make sure you’re doing everything properly and legally.)

  3. You may not allow any other company or organization to use the W.I.N.O.S.™ or W.I.N.O.S. Buddies™ logos or information, nor create a link to any other company, group or organization that wants to sell to other members of W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club™. (If you are approached by another group or organization that wants to use our logos or information, please refer them to our headquarters office.)

  4. If you want to use your website to solicit donations or a fund-raising event for a charitable purpose, you must obtain prior written permission of W.I.N.O.S. Buddies™ and comply with federal, state and local laws in your efforts (again, you might want to have a quick conversation with your local friendly lawyer/attorney/barrister about this). You may not sell any goods or services on your website, or allow any other company or group to use your website to sell their goods or services.

  5. You may post and disseminate any information sent to you by W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club to WBC members.

  6. WBC Chapters may not endorse or support any candidate for any political office, or support any cause or political issue which is subject to vote or referendum of the citizens of any political subdivision in the United States and its territories, or in any other country, or solicit funds for any candidate or political cause, purpose or issue.

  7. Please notice that we don’t use “bad words” in any of our books or materials. Therefore, you may not use any obscene or pornographic material, or any other material which would be considered immoral or degrading to another person or group on your website or in any communications.

  8. W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club™, W.I.N.O.S.™ and a significant number of our products, sayings and logos are trademarks of W.I.N.O.S. (Women In Need Of Sanity)™ and are our intellectual property. If you want to use our trademarks on your website, or information which is already posted on any of our websites, you must first receive written permission to do so.

  9. The use of your website and W.I.N.O.S. Buddies Club™ to create email spam lists to solicit membership or attendance at an event is not permitted.

  10. You may not use any W.I.N.O.S. Buddies™ website, blog or related communication vehicle to harass or deliberately confuse, mislead or misinform any other person or group of people.

These policies and terms are subject to change at any time without prior notice Please check back from time to time to review these policies and terms.
